Day 1 Arrival in Warsaw
x Arrival in Warsaw by plane or coach. Meeting with the tour leader from Ernesto Travel and transfer by coach to the hotel in Warsaw. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel or at the restaurant in the centre of Warsaw (depending on the arrival time). [It's possible to begin the programme in Krakow, Katowice or another city according to the flight schedule]. Overnight stay in Warsaw. -
Day 2 Warsaw – the capital city of Poland
8:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 Guided tour of Warsaw: Lazienkowski Park with the Frederic Chopin monument, the Warsaw Ghetto, Umschlagplatz (thousands of Jews were deported from there to the concentration camps), the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Palace of Culture and Science, Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, the Old Town (listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO), St. John’s Cathedral. The Old Town was completely destroyed during World War II and reconstructed thanks to the commitment of the Polish nation. 13:00 Lunch at a restaurant in the centre of Warsaw. 14:30 Sightseeing inside the Royal Castle. 16:30 Leisure time in the centre of Warsaw. Optionally – a concert in Warsaw's Grand Theatre. 20:00 Dinner with the music concert at one of the local restaurants (optional). Overight stay in Warsaw. 22:00 Return to the hotel. -
Day 3 Warsaw's running marathon
8:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 9:30 The marathon starts at the Castle Square. It runs through: the Old Town, passing the most important streets with their famous monuments. The marathon finishes at the Main Market Square. The run takes approximately 6 hours. Afternoon Free time (lunch not provided). Evening Dinner at a restaurant in the city centre. Overnight stay in Warsaw. -
Day 4 Warsaw – Zelazowa Wola – Wilanow – Warsaw
8:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 Departure for Zelazowa Wola – Frederic Chopin's birthplace. Visiting famous Chopin House Museum and the concert of his music (depends on the tourist season). Departure for Wilanow and visiting estate residence of Polish Kings – The Palace and park. 13:00 Return to Warsaw. Lunch at one of the restaurants in the Old Town. 14:30 Free time in the city centre. 20:00 Dinner at the restaurant. Return to the hotel. The last night in Warsaw. -
